First things first, why is it called Ghibli?

"Ghibli" is an Italian word for a summer wind coming from the Sahara, affecting several countries in N.Africa and S.European countries. The idea was to capture the studio's ambitions to be a force within the animation industry. Clearly, it is quite befitting!
